We loved the place. The owner was so firendly and helpful. We really had a great welcome smile, a sincere one. The room is very well decorated, clean and the high ceillings makes it perfect. They pay attention to detailn that would make you smile. This place is simple but great. We even got recommended a great and local restaurant. We had a great time there.
It was not one big bed but 2 small ones trying to fill the role of one and this is hatefull when you try to sleep with your partner. There is always this hole in the middle that keeps opening. Sadly this seems popular in many hotels we stayed.

The old parquet floors feature fine maintenance. A quiet courtyard filled with plants provides a relaxing escape, showcasing the quirky and tasteful decor throughout.
There are no parking facilities at the hotel itself, forcing guests to rely on a public parking garage about 600 meters away, which can be inconvenient. The sliding barn door in the bathroom felt a bit odd, while ground-floor rooms have windows that face directly into the courtyard seating area, reducing privacy.

Good value for money. This is not typical hotel, so accommodation is without typical hotel facilities. It is one floor in regular building with several flats adapted as rooms, with bathroom inside. Good for city travel, for young people. Not recommended for old people - there are stairs to first floor and without elevator. Not recommended for families with children under 3y - for them its better to book true hotel.
Nearest public underground parking 300m away, problem if you are first time in Budapest and you need to find it. Not easy to find this accommodation if you are in car, driving and looking hotel name - there is no table on the wall, so when you enter street go out on foot and look on the left side of street. Wi-Fi had very low signal, I was in closest room and without connection, this can be a problem if you are there for business. Tv set is full with Arab and Chinese channels, small number of normal European channels to watch.

We've stayed here before and greatly enjoyed this place. We stayed here for 4 nights, the hotel was wonderful and fairly clean, with good location near to 2 metro stations. Location: the property was adjacent to a taxi and good restaurants.

I was almost ready to write a stellar review, until i encountered a confusing kettle at breakfast and realized the comfort room was too small for a proper stay. It would've been nice to get a complimentary upgrade or any special treatment, but alas, just another regular experience!

We stayed at House Belatage for 3 nights in December 2012. I honestly can't fault the place. They organised for a taxi to pick us up from the airport (costing only about £16). A friendly young lad called Tomas met us at the door and showed us our beautiful room. It was fantastically decorated - wouldn't have looked out of place in a White Company catalogue. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had a nice big shower. Breakfast is served every day until a leisurely 10am and a selection of proper coffee and tea is available at no charge around the clock. The hotel is very well located, 5 mins walk from the Pest side of Liberty bridge. The price is almost unbelievable. 3 nights cost about the same as a pair of designer jeans and was a damn sight more comfortable.
For those after a view of the Danube, this is not for you. The rooms look out onto a typical Budapest street (not a noisy one though). However, in the winter months, Budapest boasts only about 6 hours of daylight anyway - during which time, you'll most likely be exploring the city rather than staring out of a hotel window!

Everything, but esp the fact that it was an old residence converted to a hotel- really nice rooms, high ceilings, very well designed. Overall the feel was a bit old school and quirky.

A wonderful petite Property in the wonderful city of Budapest. Very new, rooms very comfortable and bathrooms are of a good size. Breakfast excellent for such a small place. There were lots of little things, that the owners thought about to spoil their guests.

The standard double room is unique, we also really enjoyed stunningly beautiful views. The hotel is situated in the centre of the city, relatively close to a huge market.
